Hunter Biden’s art gallerist has testified before Congress and revealed that the White House’s claims about an ethics agreement are false, as Hunter is fully aware of the identities of the individuals purchasing his “artwork” — many of whom are Democrat donors, including one who was appointed to a prestigious position.

In 2021, then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki claimed that “all interactions regarding the selling of [Hunter Biden’s] art and the setting of prices will be handled by a professional gallerist adhering to the highest professional standards.”

“And any offer out of the normal course would be rejected out of hand, and the gallerist will not share information about buyers or prospective buyers, including their identities with Hunter Biden or the administration, which provides quite a level of protection and transparency,” she added.

According to House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY), Hunter Biden’s art gallerist Georges Bergès admitted during an interview with the committee on Tuesday that he never made any ethics agreement with the White House, despite claims to the contrary from the Biden administration.

Bergès was asked during the interview about the nature of his relationship with the White House, as well as details about who was purchasing Hunter Biden’s art.

In a statement about the interview, Comer declared that the Biden administration “appears to have deceived the American people about facilitating an ethics agreement governing the sale of Hunter Biden’s art. Hunter Biden’s gallerist never had any communication with the White House about such an agreement to make sure there was any sort of ethics compliance at all, and he provided information to the committee revealing how Hunter Biden’s amateur art career is an ethics nightmare.”

Despite the White House’s claims that Hunter Biden would not know the identities of his art buyers, Bergès told the House Oversight Committee that Hunter “knew the identities of the individuals who purchased roughly 70% of the value of his art, including Democrat donors Kevin Morris and Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali,” according to Comer.

“The vast majority of Hunter Biden’s art has been purchased by Democrat donors, one of whom was appointed by President Biden to a prestigious commission after she purchased Hunter Biden’s art for tens of thousands of dollars shortly after Joe Biden’s inauguration. The White House has a lot of explaining to do about misleading the American people,” the Oversight Committee chairman added.

Naftali was previously identified as one of Hunter Biden’s art buyers, prompting a massive scandal — as she was appointed by President Joe Biden to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad sometime between purchasing the first painting from Hunter for $42,000 in February 2021 and a second painting for $52,000 in December of 2022.

Meanwhile, Morris reportedly purchased $875,000 worth of Hunter’s art in January 2023. Morris, an attorney who previously helped Hunter pay his unpaid taxes, “only paid Mr. Bergès 40% commission of the $875,000 purchase and Hunter Biden and Kevin Morris figured out the financial implications. Mr. Bergès admitted he has never done an art deal like that before,” House investigators noted.

Comer also explained that Bergès was introduced to Hunter Biden by Hollywood video producer Lanette Phillips, who has previously hosted fundraisers for President Biden. The art gallerist also reportedly informed the Oversight Committee that he had met with Joe Biden in person and spoke with him over the phone, and has also attended a wedding held at the White House.
