Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) highlighted a disturbing trend on social media on Friday, revealing that supporters of former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley’s (R) presidential campaign are bragging about her ability to obtain votes from Democrats in the GOP primary.

DeSantis shared a post from the New Hampshire Journal on X, formerly known as Twitter, where the outlet quoted Republican in Name Only (RINO) New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu bragging that the South Carolina GOP primary is “even more open” than his state’s primary.

“In South Carolina, if you’re a Democrat, you can just walk in the door and vote. So there is a lot of opportunity there,” Sununu, a Haley supporter, is quoted as saying during a radio interview.

DeSantis, who recently dropped out of the presidential race, responded to the comments, writing: “Democrats voting in a Republican primary should not represent an ‘opportunity’ for a candidate that is serious about winning large numbers of Republican voters. Why would Republicans want our nominations influenced by the other party in the first place?”

Sununu’s comment about the South Carolina primary being “even more open” than the New Hampshire primary is concerning to conservative voters, as it was confirmed by CNN that a shocking 70% of Haley voters in New Hampshire were not Republicans.

New Hampshire does not have an open primary, but the state does allow independent and undeclared voters to choose between voting in the Democrat or Republican primaries. The deadline to switch parties or become an “undeclared” voter was October 2023, and several Democrats and RINOs across the country led an effort for New Hampshire voters to switch parties to sabotage former president and current GOP primary frontrunner Donald Trump.

Fox News previously reported that “approximately 3,500 Democrats in the state switched their party registration to become undeclared voters, or independents, ahead of the October deadline. Part of that effort was led by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who recently dropped out of the race, encouraging voters to take every opportunity to turn out against Trump.”

This was further confirmed when reporters interviewed Haley supporters in New Hampshire, finding that many of them bragged about being Democrats who had no intention of supporting her in a general election — instead declaring that they had switched parties to sabotage Trump, but would still vote for President Joe Biden in November.

Meanwhile, South Carolina has a completely open primary, meaning Democrats are free to vote in the Republican primary without switching their party affiliation. Polls show Trump leading Haley by a massive margin in South Carolina, her home state, but it is unclear how Democrat voters could shift those numbers — as they are not included in most polls.

A Tyson Group poll conducted from January 24-26 shows Trump leading Haley by 27 percentage points, 58% to 31%. This survey did take Democrat voters into account, with pollster Ryan Tyson asserting that they will be 10% of the likely electorate. The poll showed Haley with a decisive advantage over Trump among Democrat voters, beating him 49% to 5%.

Haley isn’t just receiving Democrat support at the polls, as it has been confirmed that her biggest donor is Democrat megadonor, LinkedIn co-founder and Epstein Island visitor Reid Hoffman — who also bankrolled E. Jean Carroll’s ludicrous civil case against Trump.
