High-End Hamptons Cocaine ‘Delivery Service’ Busted: Brooklyn Duo Charged In Lucrative Drug Ring
A sophisticated drug operation run by two men from Brooklyn has been dismantled after authorities discovered their cocaine “delivery service” catering to wealthy clients in the Hamptons. The duo, Alexandr Dyatchin, 38, and Michael Khodorkovsky, 44, allegedly trafficked cocaine from Brooklyn to the East End of Long Island, charging their high-end clients three times the street price for their product.
Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney revealed that Dyatchin and Khodorkovsky used Mercedes cars outfitted with hidden compartments, known as “traps,” to transport and store cocaine and MDMA. The pair were arrested on August 2 following an undercover investigation, during which they were observed conducting drug deals in exclusive Hamptons locations such as the Montauk Yacht Club.
“These individuals were running a highly lucrative business, selling cocaine at triple the normal street value,” Tierney said at a press conference, where he also highlighted four other major drug and gun trafficking cases. The arrests of Dyatchin and Khodorkovsky were part of a larger law enforcement effort that resulted in 39 indictments and 389 criminal counts.
When police arrested Khodorkovsky, they found a kilo-and-a-half of cocaine, along with $38,550 in cash and 39 gold coins valued at $100,000 in his Brooklyn apartment. Dyatchin’s East Hampton rental contained 589 grams of cocaine, 269 grams of MDMA, and $19,046 in cash. Both men, who worked as private rideshare drivers, allegedly conducted drug transactions inside their luxury vehicles.
The duo has been arraigned and is being held on $2 million cash bonds. This bust is one of several highlighted by Tierney, who emphasized that these separate drug networks, while not interconnected, represent significant threats to public safety.
