Border Sees Tenfold Increase In Migrants From Afghanistan, China

In spite of President Joe Biden’s laughable claims that the situation at the southern border is “much better,” the U.S. is still in the grips of a dangerous surge in illegal migration. And the sources of these uncontrolled migrants are changing dramatically. 

Outgoing Border Patrol chief Raul Ortiz reported an alarming tenfold explosion in migrants from countries that should cause concern.

Particularly Afghanistan, China, Egypt, and Mauritania.

Ortiz tweeted that the nation is faced with “an increase of over 1000% from some countries.” He said officials are working to “repatriate” these migrants but face “challenges” in dealing with their home governments.

The record number of border crossers under the Biden administration in both 2021 and 2022 coincides with the record number of known “got-aways.”

It should alarm Americans that along with the millions allowed to cross the border under the White House’s catch-and-release program, many more enter the nation undetected. There is no way to know their destinations or motivations once they are inside.

The illegal migrants who got by border agents could be anywhere for any purpose.

And now many in the administration believe that another surge in border crossings is on the horizon. While Title 42’s demise did not pour gas on the already blazing border fire, many in Washington say it is far too early to celebrate.

An anonymous former Biden White House official told Politico that the situation on the nation’s southern border is simply “too fluid.” The summer months could see a dramatic spike in both encounters and those who slip through undetected.

There is a misperception among those who rely on the mainstream media that the border crossers are almost entirely from Mexico and Central America. 

While that was the case at one time, that day has passed. Now, instead of a legal and orderly immigration process, the U.S. under Biden takes in millions from every far-flung location around the globe.

And many of these do not have America’s best interests at heart. How many spies and terrorists are among the lot crossing the border this very day?

Because of the administration’s intent and incompetence, it is impossible to know. But the border must be brought back under control, and soon.
