Violent LGBT Mob Destroys Street Preacher’s Bible

A Seattle street preacher was set upon by rabid attendees at a “Pride” march last weekend and verbally attacked while one LGBT advocate ripped his Bible to shreds.

Matthew Meinecke’s crime was sitting reading the Bible aloud. For this, he was accosted by people outraged at his audacity to preach the Word.

As the disturbing video showed, one particularly loathsome protester repeatedly barked in Meinecke’s face, and a female “Pride” marcher appeared to be shaking her bottom at him. 

The soft-spoken Christian is known as “The Seattle Preacher,” and he endured verbal and physical taunting from the angry mob. The “Pride” parade where he sat is the same event that included naked men on bicycles and furries prancing in front of young children.

The man who destroyed Meinecke’s Bible can be heard mocking the preacher. “Have fun doing this at a Pride event when no one wants you doing this.” 

The video, taken by Katie Daviscourt of The Post Millennial, shows Meinecke standing and reading from his Bible while LGBT marchers bark at him. 

Clearly audible on the video is security and some of the attacker’s friends asking him to stop tearing the Bible. It begs the question of why “security” did not intervene before the incident reached this point.

Incredibly, another video showed security asking Meinecke to leave the area because he was engaged in a protest or demonstration without a permit. In this instance it is the attacked who draws trouble and is asked to vacate.

The preacher countered that he was merely expressing his faith. “It’s religion, man. You can’t discriminate based on my religion.”

Some attendees alleged that he held a protest sign, though none was found by security. Clearly it was their intent to entrap the preacher and make it appear that he was the cause of the disturbance.
