Fox News is at it again. The media giant pressured producers of Jason Aldean’s “Try That in a Small Town” video to delete archival news footage of Black Lives Matter riots in 2020.

According to TMZ, the scenes displayed in the controversial but extremely popular video were shot by Fox 5 Atlanta. They showed BLM rioters violently protesting despite repeated media assertions that they were “mostly peaceful.”

TMZ quoted sources saying the producers of the Aldean music video contacted Fox in May about including the footage. The video clip lasted all of six seconds.

Apparently Fox News requested further information, including the song’s lyrics. At that point, producers forwarded a link to the song rather than its specific wording, and this did not satisfy the demands of the network.

The outlet reported that last week Fox contacted the production company and asked that they edit the news footage out of the video. This, they said, would avoid legal action. Sources referred to it as a “polite ultimatum,” and the company did as requested.

TMZ reported the video had been online for the past week before anyone noticed the Fox News clips were missing.

“Try That in a Small Town” now shows Aldean singing in front of the courthouse rather than BLM rioters. The previous version is still available on multiple social media sites.

The leftist outrage machine erupted after the release of Aldean’s hit song. Prominent public figures and journalists slammed the country star over depicting actual violence in BLM riots in which police and property were attacked.

CMT faces a backlash from country music fans after yanking the popular video from its platform. The network, however, is owned by Paramount. Its owner followed the lead of other Hollywood studios and supported rioters as they sought to destroy the nation.

Neither apparently have heard of Bud Light or Target.

To his everlasting credit, Aldean has not backed down. Many performers under far less pressure have bowed to establishment forces demanding they toe the leftist line.

Instead, the star continues to perform “Try That in a Small Town” to sellout audiences. Crowds have been seen chanting “USA!” as he sings what has become an anthem.
