DNC Roasted For Hypocritical Plan To Counter GOP Debate
The Democratic National Committee apparently did not think through their reported plan to counter the first Republican primary debate — and many critics on social media are now roasting them for their hypocrisy.
As the left continues to scream about the effects of “climate change” and beg people to stop polluting the earth, a new report from Politico Playbook revealed that the “DNC has booked a plane to fly around Milwaukee on Wednesday night dragging a banner reading: ‘GOP 2024: A Race for the Extreme MAGA Base.’”
Critics took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday to roast the DNC for their plan — pointing out that it was far from carbon-neutral.
“‘The world is literally going to end in five years if you don’t give up your car, stove, refrigerator, oven, and washing machine.’ ‘Okay now we’re gonna fly this plane in circles around Milwaukee,’” political commentator Greg Price wrote.
“Climate change is a national emergency except when we need to fly our lil plane around a bit as a treat,” Logan Dobson wrote.
However, the Democrats weren’t content with just wasting carbon emissions with an airplane — as the DNC also reportedly has commissioned at least one mobile billboard to drive around near the venue, wasting gas, with text that will supposedly be “highlighting the records of the Republican candidates.”
There will also be several stationary billboards in the area around Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum, at least one of which will be touting President Joe Biden’s record — while two will reportedly attack Republican candidates over what the DNC has deemed “2024 Republicans’ MAGA Agenda.” The major issues that the DNC will reportedly focus on will be a potential nationwide ban on abortion and supposed “tax giveaways for the rich.”
The Biden administration is also planning to try to counter the GOP debate. According to reporting from The Daily Wire, Biden’s team “prepared a full-court press with regard to media, sending surrogates to multiple outlets including Fox News to defend the president’s record and attack Republicans.”
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump has announced that he will skip the GOP debate — instead choosing to do an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson at the same time as the scheduled debate.
