Joe Biden’s Home Listed As Beneficiary Address For $250K From Beijing
A new report from Fox News Digital has revealed that Hunter Biden received wire transfers for more than $250,000 originating from Beijing during the summer of 2019 — with the beneficiary address listed as President Joe Biden’s Delaware home.
The information was learned after House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) subpoenaed financial records related to one of Hunter Biden’s bank accounts — which uncovered records of two wire transfers originating from Beijing and connected to BHR Partners, a joint venture firm between Hunter’s Rosemont Seneca firm and Chinese investment firm Bohai Capital.
BHR Partners, where Hunter Biden sat on the board of directors, is a private equity firm controlled by Bank of China Limited.
According to Fox News Digital, “The first wire sent to Hunter Biden, dated July 26, 2019, was for $10,000 from an individual named Ms. Wang Xin. There is a Ms. Wang Xin listed on the website for BHR Partners. It is unclear if the wire came from that Wang Xin.”
“The second wire transfer sent to Hunter Biden, dated August 2, 2019, was for $250,000 from Li Xiang Sheng—also known as Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR Partners—and Ms. Tan Ling. The committee is trying to identify Ling’s role,” the outlet added.
Robert Hunter Biden is listed as the beneficiary for these two wire transfers, with his address listed as “1209 Barley Mill Road” — which is the main residence for Joe Biden in Wilmington, Delaware.
Fox News Digital spoke with House Oversight Committee aides about the matter, who informed the outlet that beneficiary addresses are either the address listed on the recipient’s account or listed by the individual sending the wire transfer. Thus far, it is unclear who listed the address on these transfers.
While Hunter Biden spent several different periods of time throughout 2017-2019 living at his father’s home in Wilmington, it is unclear whether he was living there at the time of these wire transfers in July and August 2019.
This news is especially scandalous for the Biden administration considering the wire transfers were sent several months after Joe Biden announced his 2020 presidential campaign. In August 2019, Biden falsely claimed that he had “never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their business, period.”
Comer responded to the news in a statement, arguing that “Bank records don’t lie but President Joe Biden does.”
“In 2020, Joe Biden told Americans that his family never received money from China,” Comer wrote. “We’ve already proved that to be a lie earlier this year, and now we know that two wires originating from Beijing listed Joe Biden’s Wilmington home as the beneficiary address when he was running for President of the United States. When Joe Biden was vice president, he spoke on the phone and had coffee with Jonathan Li in Beijing, and later wrote a college letter of recommendation for his children.”
“Joe Biden’s abuse of public office for his family’s financial gain threatens our national security,” the statement continued. “What did the Bidens do with this money from Beijing? Americans demand and deserve accountability for President Biden and the First Family’s corruption. The Oversight Committee, along with the Judiciary and Ways and Means Committees, will continue to follow the evidence and money to provide transparency and accountability.”
