Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon has launched a scathing attack against Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, denouncing what he calls “nerd rule” and predicting potential legal troubles for the tech executive despite his recent overtures to former President Donald Trump.

Speaking on his “War Room” show on Real America’s Voice, Bannon criticized Zuckerberg’s recent attempts to reshape his public image, including his martial arts training and million-dollar donation to Trump’s upcoming inauguration. “You wanna talk about a despicable human being? It’s Zuckerberg,” Bannon declared. “You’re another man-child.”

The former presidential advisor, who was recently released from federal prison after refusing to cooperate with the January 6 show trials, specifically targeted Zuckerberg’s role during the pandemic. “We saw what nerd rule was during the pandemic. And, guess what: this country does not want nerd rule and we’re not going back to it,” he stated.

Bannon also alleged that Zuckerberg contributed $450 million to “steal the election” and suggested that the Meta CEO could face criminal charges as part of what he termed a “vast criminal conspiracy investigation” into the 2020 election. “I believe that you will be charged with crimes, sir,” Bannon said, adding that Zuckerberg’s recent donation and VIP seating at Trump’s inauguration “not going to mean anything.”

The attack on Zuckerberg follows Bannon’s recent criticism of fellow tech billionaire Elon Musk over his support for expanding the H-1B visa program. Bannon, who continues to advocate for America-first policies, has been vocal in his opposition to what he views as harmful policy proposals from both Democrats and Republicans.

Bannon emphasized the disconnect between the tech executive and Trump’s base: “Remember, the base hates you, despises you; you’re revolting … for what you did to this country.”
