While backtracking on the high point of his bumbling State of the Union address, President Joe Biden said the quiet part out loud concerning illegal migration. He told MSNBC that the White House desires an “orderly flow” of these migrants into the U.S.

Thousands crossing the southern border from who-knows-where every single day is the ultimate target.

The context was Biden pulling back from calling the alleged murderer of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley “illegal.” This led to mass panic among the far left and an outcry of support for the accused murderer.

“Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) whined on X, formerly Twitter, “Let me be clear: No human being is illegal.”

Some drew parallels between the incumbent and his immediate predecessor. Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) charged, “The rhetoric President Biden used tonight was dangerously close to language from Donald Trump.”

Biden fought back in a Sunday interview with MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart. Asked about referring to the accused murderer as illegal, the embattled Democrat quickly backtracked.

Biden blurted out, “Undocumented person. I shouldn’t have used illegal. It’s undocumented.”

And just like that, the president retreated behind the radical leftist curtain and succumbed to the speech police. There are indeed “illegal” persons when it comes to immigration, as every sovereign nation has the inherent right to secure its borders.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) was notably outraged by the president’s backpedaling. The Republican called his actions an “embarrassment” as Biden appeared to apologize to Riley’s alleged murderer.

Johnson vented his frustration on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday.

The Speaker wrote, “The president is cowering to his base and showing deference to a man who deserves none. This man is an illegal immigrant who brutally murdered Laken Riley. President Biden should be apologizing to Laken’s family. What an embarrassment.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) forcefully urged Biden before the speech to acknowledge Riley’s tragic death. But even as the president mentioned the nursing student in his address, he angered his supporters.

The left is noticeably uncomfortable showing compassion to victims of violent crimes. From the president on down, there must instead be deference displayed to the perpetrator — which defies basic human decency.
