Conservative Actor Claims Hollywood More Evil Than Your ‘Worst Fears’
Legendary conservative actor James Woods responded to a tweet from a follower on Tuesday questioning him about evil in Hollywood — noting that it’s much worse than your “worst fears.”
In a since-deleted tweet, one of Woods’ fans asked him to describe the true extent of “evil” in Hollywood — and his response left many shocked.
“James, serious question. As someone who has enormous respect for your talent as an actor, I’m curious – how evil is Hollywood?” the fan asked.
“Multiply your worst fears by 100,” Woods responded.
The conservative actor did not elaborate on his claims, then later deleted the tweet.
Woods is far from the first member of the Hollywood elite to call out their fellow elites. During a speech at the March for Life earlier this year, actor Jonathan Roumie blasted the entertainment industry.
“For some time now, we have been witnesses to a mounting polarity between light and dark. We’ve seen it manifest itself in many facets of culture,” Roumie said.
“But I would like to address as I see it as an artist in the entertainment industry. In the last several years there’s been a sharp and disturbing increase in the darkness of the imagery being used in film, television, and music. The landscape has become increasingly sinister,” he added. “And in some cases, even demonic in tone. More so than in previous years. Sometimes subliminal. Oftentimes overt. Storylines involving the occult, witchcraft, demons, and even Satanic elements are commonplace in mainstream programming. Many feature spiritually and psychologically disturbing content.”
Roumie later called out the media for becoming “a portal to behavior and attitudes kids want to emulate that reject God, reject the light, and reject, ultimately, all those aspects of community which give life.”
“I have observed God subtly, but radically being removed from public popular culture over the last couple of decades. Replaced with some of the most corruptive images and ideologies for young hearts and minds,” he continued.
Comedian Ricky Gervais also famously called out Hollywood elites to their faces when he was hosting the Golden Globes in 2020
“Well, you say you’re woke but the companies you work for in China — unbelievable. Apple, Amazon, Disney. If ISIS started a streaming service you’d call your agent, wouldn’t you?” he quipped during a long rant.
