Half Of Wisconsin’s Trans Inmates Charged With Gender-Related Attacks
Documents revealed by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project revealed shocking details on transgender inmates. Over half of men identifying as women incarcerated in Wisconsin are charged with gender-related attacks.
Research showed there are currently 161 men claiming to be women behind bars in the state’s institutions.
The data was obtained through a 2022 public records request.
An astounding 81 of the female-identifying inmates, or 50.3%, are imprisoned due to at least one count of these intimate attacks. There is a long list of possible acts that fall into this category, and many of them involve children.
The DOC noted that many of the transgender inmates may have been convicted of crimes unrelated to gender.
Speaking to The Daily Signal, the Heritage Foundation’s media outlet, Oversight Project Director Mike Howell made the group’s stance clear. “Men belong with men and men only in prison.”
He added, “Putting…offender men claiming to be women in cells with women is another reason the world laughs at America’s moral decline. Prison is for punishment, not degenerate…behavior.”
The outlet said the Wisconsin DOC did not confirm if it housed these biological males in prisons for women, but many states do. Further, the agency did not respond to repeated questions about a particularly notorious trans inmate.
Mark Campbell is a biological male who now claims to be a woman and answers to Nicole Campbell. The state would not confirm whether he was transferred to a women’s facility.
Campbell admitted to attacking his own daughter and received a 34-year prison sentence, according to local media. In Dec. 2020, a federal judge ruled that he would benefit from transition surgery funded by Wisconsin taxpayers.
The judge further declared that Campbell could be housed in a women’s prison as he waited for the “transitioning” procedure.
Cases are mounting as the practice of placing biological males in women’s facilities increases. The Washington Free Beacon reported on a male murderer who identified as female being sent to a women’s prison.
Now there, he is accused of “preying” on true women and boasts that he received “special treatment.”
Another male prisoner housed in New Jersey, Demi Minor, also identifies as a woman. He was allowed to serve his sentence at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women, where he impregnated two inmates.
Minor’s former foster mother, Dr. Wanda Broach-Butts, called him a “psychopath.” She told the New York Post that she believed he used a claim of transgenderism as an excuse to be locked up with the female population.
