Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) didn’t mince words when blasting former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) after she endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris. Vance accused both Cheney and Harris of getting richer while Americans, particularly soldiers, bear the burden of wars promoted by Washington elites.

Vance spoke with Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, where he emphasized that Cheney’s career has been built on advocating for military conflicts that result in young Americans going off to fight. Vance added, “Liz Cheney and Kamala Harris make a perfect pair — they profit when America loses wars.” He highlighted that the two politicians enrich themselves while pushing for foreign conflicts that don’t benefit the nation.

Kirk joined Vance in pointing out how many of the D.C. establishment figures, who have long supported military involvement, are rallying behind Harris. He described Vance and President Donald Trump, who is running for re-election, as part of the “peacemakers” camp.

Vance went on to say that the country needs strength and security, not endless wars that leave America weaker on the world stage. He tied Cheney’s foreign policy record, particularly her support for military actions in Afghanistan, to the loss of American lives. “Her entire career has been about sending other people’s children off to fight her wars,” Vance remarked.

Cheney recently endorsed Harris, stating she could not vote for Trump due to what she perceives as a threat he poses to the country. Cheney, a vocal critic of Trump, has consistently opposed his leadership, especially after the Capitol protests on January 6, 2021, where she blamed him for inciting unrest.
