Vice President Kamala Harris sidestepped a question regarding President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline during a recent interview with NBC News. Hallie Jackson asked Harris whether she had been fully transparent with the public about Biden’s mental state, particularly following his poor debate performance against President Donald Trump.

Harris responded by praising Biden’s experience and qualifications, calling him “extremely accomplished” and capable. However, she avoided directly addressing whether she had seen any signs of cognitive issues while working closely with Biden during his presidency.

Jackson pressed Harris again, asking if she had noticed anything behind the scenes that matched Biden’s struggles during the debate. Harris did not provide a clear response, instead labeling the debate as “a bad debate” without further explanation.

This evasion has raised concerns about Harris’ honesty and transparency, especially now that she is leading the Democratic ticket. Many believe that Harris has a responsibility to disclose what she witnessed during Biden’s presidency, particularly regarding his cognitive fitness.

As Harris continues her campaign for the presidency, questions surrounding her reluctance to address Biden’s cognitive decline may continue to linger, potentially affecting her candidacy.
