Kamala Harris Campaign Looks To Moderate GOP Voters With RINO Endorsements
Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign is targeting moderate Republicans and Independents after securing endorsements from key RINOs, including former GOP Reps. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, Liz Cheney of Wyoming, and Jimmy McCain, the son of the late Arizona Sen. John McCain.
These figures, who have been outspoken critics of President Donald Trump, have now aligned themselves with Harris, offering her campaign a chance to appeal to disillusioned Republicans. The Harris team hopes these RINO endorsements will broaden their base ahead of the election.
“We are proud of the bipartisan support we’re receiving for Vice President Harris,” said campaign spokesperson Ian Sams. “Her commitment to freedom, patriotism, and our Constitution appeals to voters from both sides of the aisle.”
The Harris campaign has launched a “Republicans for Harris” initiative and hired a National Republican Engagement Director to lead outreach to moderate Republicans and Independents, aiming to attract those who feel alienated by Trump’s policies.
Meanwhile, Trump continues to solidify his support with endorsements from former Democrats like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard. Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt dismissed the RINO endorsements of Harris, stating, “No conservative will ever vote for a candidate like Kamala Harris, who stands for open borders, high taxes, and weak-on-crime policies.”
