Loomer Targets Pam Bondi Over Zimmerman Case While Hammering Epstein Document Delay

Political commentator Laura Loomer has launched a blistering attack on Attorney General Pam Bondi — bringing renewed attention to Bondi’s role in the prosecution of George Zimmerman. Loomer, who has been vocal about Bondi’s handling of Jeffrey Epstein-related files, is now reminding conservatives of Bondi’s involvement in what she describes as a politically driven case against Zimmerman.
According to Loomer, Bondi assigned State Attorney Angela Corey to prosecute Zimmerman after then-Attorney General Eric Holder pressured Florida officials to take action. Loomer claims that Bondi “folded like a cheap suit” in the face of federal pressure — rather than standing firm against what she argues was an unjust prosecution. Corey, Loomer pointed out, went before a grand jury without presenting key evidence — such as photos of Zimmerman’s injuries — that would have demonstrated he was acting in self-defense.
Loomer argues that Bondi’s role in the case fits a pattern of decisions that have favored political expediency over legal fairness. She suggests Bondi’s willingness to go along with Obama administration officials contributed to what many conservatives view as a biased and unjust legal process against Zimmerman. Loomer also claims Bondi’s actions helped fuel racial division — pointing to Barack Obama’s statement that Trayvon Martin could have been his son as evidence that the administration sought to exploit the case for political gain.
Bondi has not responded publicly to Loomer’s accusations — but her silence on the matter hasn’t stopped Loomer from pressing forward. After Loomer called out Bondi’s record on X, the attorney general reportedly blocked her on the platform. Loomer, citing court precedents, argues that Bondi violated constitutional free speech protections by blocking her — given that Bondi uses her X account for official government business.
In addition to her criticism of Bondi’s role in the Zimmerman case, Loomer has also accused Bondi of questionable ties to foreign entities — pointing out her past work as a lobbyist for Qatar. While many conservatives have been frustrated with Bondi over the Epstein files, Loomer is now ensuring that her entire record — including her involvement in high-profile cases like Zimmerman’s — comes under scrutiny.
