Mainstream Media Targets RFK Jr.’s Wife
The mainstream media has appeared to change their tactics in their attempt to destroy Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — as the latest attacks have been aimed at his wife, Cheryl Hines.
Just as former Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard predicted, the Democrats and their allies are doing everything possible to attack Kennedy, in an effort to prop up President Joe Biden — especially as polls continue to show support for Biden decreasing while support for Kennedy has risen to over 20%.
While discussing Kennedy’s candidacy on Fox News, Gabbard asserted that the left will first “ignore him,” then “seek to smear and discredit him,” and finally “pull out all the stops and destroy” him.
“It’s what I experienced in 2020 when I ran for president in the Democratic primary, and they’re doing the same thing with Kennedy,” Gabbard, who left the Democrat Party last year, added.
Several mainstream media outlets have started attacking Hines for supposedly being “anti-vax” — an accusation they have already lobbed at Kennedy for his criticism of the COVID vaccine and the authoritarian pandemic mandates.
PJ Media has speculated about the motive behind media’s attacks, writing: “Presumably to try to leverage the good standing of RFK Jr.’s wife Cheryl Hines with the cultural elites in Hollywood and create a little internal marital conflict in the process, the corporate state media has begun pumping out anti-RFK Jr. propaganda with a fresh angle.”
Far-left outlet Jezebel attempted to smear Kennedy as “dangerous” while arguing that his recent contact with conservative-leaning outlets somehow proves he is not a Democrat — despite the fact that the left-leaning media has refused to platform him, and thus these conservative outlets are the only place left.
In their article titled “Cheryl Hines Is Now an Anti-Vax Soldier for Her Husband, RFK Jr.,” Jezebel pulled out all the stops to smear the Democrat candidate.
“Kennedy is running as a Democrat—despite doing many interviews on Breitbart and getting a book blurb from Tucker Carlson—and some voters may merely recognize his last name without knowing about his dangerous views,” the far-left outlet claimed. “In any case, it’s not clear yet if his candidacy will increase the chances that Biden loses to a Republican, but it’s dangerous for platforming anti-vaccine sentiment, and Cheryl Hines has revealed herself to be an active and willing participant in that project.”
In the most egregious example of these attacks, the New York Times tried to play off their smears of Kennedy and his wife as factual statements — while also subtly defending billionaire Bill Gates for his own vaccine crusade.
“Ms. Hines, 57, has been in many spotlights during her three decades as a professional actress, most famously for her role as Larry David’s wife on ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ but this new one is different,” the Times explained. “After a lifetime of not being particularly political, she finds herself not only married to a man from a storied American political family, but also attached to his long-shot campaign for the highest office in the country. (Mr. Kennedy is the son of former United States Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy.)”
“And it seems clear he will need Ms. Hines, who is in the unique position of being more recognizable to some voters than her candidate husband, to help soften his image for those put off by his crusade against vaccines and history of promoting conspiracy theories, such as the false narrative that Bill Gates champions vaccines for financial gain.”
While the mainstream media gleefully attacks anyone who expresses vaccine skepticism, using the argument that they are not doctors or scientists and thus do not have the authority or knowledge to make their statements, they are more than happy to support non-experts like Gates who push Americans to get the vaccine without any research on the issue. In their continued defense of Gates, the New York Times and other outlets have falsely asserted that claims about the billionaire’s financial gains from the Big Pharma industry are lies.
As PJ Media noted, “The New York Times is consistently diligent about running PR for Bill Gates. Does this have anything to do with Gates’ $319 million “donation” to corporate state media spread across multiple outlets, including the Newspaper of Record? Fact check: as I have cited elsewhere, the Bill Gates Foundation invested heavily in the Moderna mRNA injections.”
