MSNBC Mocks Voter Concerns Over Biden’s Illegal Immigration
Leftist stronghold MSNBC was in rare form after Super Tuesday’s results further established the rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump this fall. And the female hosts went out of their way to insult the intelligence of U.S. voters.
One after another, they took turns mocking the number one concern of the electorate — Biden’s illegal migrant invasion.
Jen Psaki, Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid disparaged those who cling to the notion of national sovereignty. Psaki dryly noted that her home state of Virginia listed illegal immigration as the number one voter issue.
This led Maddow to quip that it does share a border with West Virginia.
Democrats flush from Super Tuesday would do well to take note. The most recent Gallup survey of Americans’ concerns for the nation now lists illegal immigration as number one.
The rate rose an astounding eight percentage points just from January to a 28% tally in February. This marked the first time since 2019 that the issue topped worries of U.S. citizens.
The government was listed by 20% of respondents with the economy and inflation drawing 12% and 11%, respectively. Immigration was the only issue Gallup revealed to show meaningful change for the past two months.
Clearly, the illegal immigrant invasion will shape much of the narrative of the 2024 presidential race. But to the mouthpieces of MSNBC, it is not a concern.
This bodes well for presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump. After all, the centerpiece of his 2016 campaign was to secure the nation’s southern border through building a wall.
Ask virtually any voter, and they identify Trump’s policies with his insistence that the U.S. maintain border security. This is a distinct advantage over an incumbent known for throwing the border wide open and permitting the invasion.
If Democrats such as those featured on MSNBC believe immigration is not important, it will be their epitaph in this year’s election. The American people will not be fooled by Biden’s 11th hour conversion into a border hawk.
His watch has already done incalculable damage to the social fabric of the nation. Four more years is unthinkable.
