A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from the Southeastern Legal Foundation has revealed that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) found 82,000 pages of emails sent or received by then-Vice President Joe Biden’s private alias email accounts.

As the use of a private email for official business is illegal, experts and lawmakers have argued that Biden’s use of alias email accounts is unusual, suspicious and “shady,” according to Breitbart News.

Then-Vice President Biden’s aliases included the names “Robert Peters,” “Robin Ware” and “JRB Ware” — all of which were used to share government information and discuss business with his son, Hunter Biden, and Hunter’s business associates. Another report from Breitbart News showed that Joe Biden also used another alias, “auks,” to communicate with his family in 2010.

NARA previously revealed in August that it was in possession of 5,400 emails and records linked to Biden’s alias accounts — but this latest status report from the Southeastern Legal Foundation’s FOIA request shows that these were not the only emails.

The agency has only released the total number of documents that it possesses thus far via a status report, and has not released the actual emails nor made any statements about the contents of the emails.

NARA is required by the Federal Records Act to preserve all government-related emails from private email accounts, and according to Breitbart News, “It appears Joe Biden followed the law to provide NARA the documents from his tenure as vice president during the Obama administration.”

Thus far, the public is aware of one email from Biden’s “Robert Peters” alias, where the then-vice president received an email in 2016 about Ukraine with his son, Hunter Biden, cc’d on the email. The message included an attachment containing Joe Biden’s schedule, which showed that he had spoken with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko via phone.

Poroshenko’s name has come up in numerous investigations into the Biden family’s business schemes. One such instance was related to Joe Biden’s infamous conversation bragging about getting a Ukrainian prosecutor fired in exchange for U.S. loan guarantees. In July, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) released an FBI FD-1023 form alleging that Burisma Holdings founder Mykola Zlochevsky had paid Joe and Hunter Biden a bribe of $5 million each after the prosecutor was fired.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) has expressed concern about Biden’s “Robert Peters” alias and the president’s refusal to explain the issue for some time now, telling Breitbart News: “I’ve been suspicious ever since my office uncovered this fact back in 2021, and we have unfortunately gotten no response from the White House to the four letters that my office has sent on this matter. It is incredibly worrisome that Joe Biden continues to evade our oversight efforts surrounding his corruption.”
