NYC Will Distribute Flyers At Border Warning Illegal Aliens To Go Elsewhere
New York City will reportedly begin handing out flyers at the U.S.-Mexico border in the near future to warn illegal aliens that they would be “better off” if they chose a different city to go to upon illegally entering the United States.
On Wednesday, authorities in New York City announced the decision to distribute flyers to illegal aliens — releasing images of the flyers that show a list of warnings about the supposed difficulties they will face if they choose to flock to the Democrat-run city.
The flyers have a bullet-point list that claims “New York City’s (NYC) resources have been exhausted” and notes that “Asylum Seekers are now getting letters to move out of the shelter.”
The list continues with warnings like “You will not be placed in a hotel” and “NYC is one of the most expensive cities in the world; you are better off going to a more affordable city.”
“NYC cannot help you obtain a work permit, and you will not be able to easily find work,” another warning reads.
New York City continues to face the consequences of the illegal immigration crisis caused by open-border policies that city officials and a majority of residents previously supported — as the self-declared “sanctuary city” has been flooded with more than 100,000 illegal aliens since last year. In response to the crisis, New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) recently limited adult illegal aliens to 30 days in the city’s facilities — as he has repeatedly warned that shelters are becoming overwhelmed.
In August, House Republican Conference Chair Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) warned that the “radical” sanctuary policies of Democrats like Adams, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and President Joe Biden were exacerbating the illegal immigration crisis.
“Unfortunately, because of these extreme Democrats’ policies, every community is now a border community,” and those communities are “reaping the havoc these policies have caused,” Stefanik told Breitbart News in an interview.
The New York congresswoman also noted that House Republicans “know that border security is national security, and that is why we made restoring border security a key pillar of our ‘Commitment to America’ that we ran and won on in 2022.”
