Concerns about a surge in myocarditis diagnoses within the U.S. military came to light recently, with a 151% increase in 2021 compared to the average of the preceding five years. This spike corresponds to when service members were mandated to get the COVID-19 vaccination, prompting some to question a possible link.

Gilbert Cisneros Jr., Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, confirmed the increase, attributing it to the COVID-19 virus rather than the vaccine. However, others, including Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), dispute this explanation. “It is unclear whether or how it accounted for service members who had a prior COVID-19 infection and received a COVID-19 vaccination,” Johnson wrote last week in a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

This development comes after a whistleblower presented to Sen. Johnson data downloaded from the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED), which tracks health conditions among military personnel. Johnson voiced concern over the Department of Defense’s (DOD) lack of transparency in dealing with these issues, even implying a possible cover-up.

Besides myocarditis, a condition that can lead to sudden death, the whistleblower’s data revealed increased health problems among vaccinated military personnel. Cases of pulmonary embolism rose by 41.2%, ovarian dysfunction climbed by 38.2% and vague heart disease complications increased by 37.3%.

Dr. Peter McCullough, a renowned critic of the current pandemic narrative, argues that myocarditis cases result from the vaccine rather than the virus. His stance is bolstered by Israeli data indicating an absence of myocarditis in COVID patients.

Joe Biden, who made vaccination mandatory for military personnel in 2021, has yet to respond to these developments. Critics argue that this policy, driven by political motivations rather than health concerns, may have put the well-being of our service members at risk.

While the Defense Department insists that the COVID-19 vaccines are safe and necessary, these recent developments challenge that narrative. This is especially concerning considering that all four authorized vaccines in the U.S. can reportedly cause myocarditis, with a specific warning issued for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Sen. Johnson applauded the whistleblower’s disclosure in the face of these revelations. “Without the whistleblower’s disclosure, I doubt DOD would have ever acknowledged that it provided incomplete information to my office in February 2022 and again in July 2022,” he stated. Johnson decried the DOD’s apparent “disregard for transparency” in handling the issue.

As we face the troubling statistics and diverging narratives, it’s clear that transparency, diligent investigation, and open debate are more crucial than ever. Politics should not compromise the health and safety of our military personnel. We must ensure these brave men and women receive accurate information and safe healthcare options without external pressures or hidden agendas.
