Soros-Funded DA Targets Elon Musk Over $1 Million Giveaway
Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, known for his backing by billionaire George Soros, is targeting Elon Musk’s million-dollar initiative that encourages Americans to sign a petition supporting the Constitution. Musk’s initiative, aimed at swing-state voters, promises a chance to win part of a million-dollar prize for simply signing a statement, “I support the U.S. Constitution.”
Krasner has claimed Musk’s effort amounts to “election interference,” prompting him to file a lawsuit against the X platform owner. The Department of Justice has also raised concerns, warning Musk that his initiative could “potentially violate federal election law.” Musk’s supporters, however, argue he is merely promoting principles like free speech and the Second Amendment.
Commentator Sara Gonzales of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered” didn’t mince words, saying, “Democrats about lost their damn mind.” Gonzales accused the Democrats of hypocrisy, asserting that they have no problem with billionaires influencing politics — so long as they back leftist causes.
In response, Musk did not back down. He pointed out that, in his view, his initiative stands as a counterpoint to efforts by Soros, who has heavily funded progressive DAs and Democratic causes. “America Pac is kind of the anti-Soros pack,” Musk said, adding, “Putting DAs in charge that don’t prosecute crime is insane.”
Musk’s defenders argue he is merely rallying Americans around the Constitution and is not directly impacting an election. Gonzales added, “If there’s one party that is very clearly the party of the Constitution…it’s the party of free speech.”
According to reports, Soros has spent hundreds of millions backing progressive efforts, including $78 million in 2020 alone and $128 million in 2022 to help Democrats maintain power. Critics argue that this is far more than Musk’s petition giveaway and represents true “election interference.”
As Musk continues to advocate for free speech and the Constitution, the clash highlights ongoing tensions over the role of billionaires in politics — especially when supporting conservative causes.
