President Donald Trump has suggested the federal government and military already know the origins of the mysterious drones spotted in New Jersey but are choosing not to share the information with the public.

Trump addressed the topic during a recent press conference at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, expressing frustration over the lack of transparency. “The government knows what is happening. Our military knows where they took off from and where they went,” he said. Trump questioned the decision to keep the public in suspense, adding, “They don’t want to comment for some reason. They should tell the people.”

The sightings have caused significant concern, particularly near Trump’s Bedminster property. Trump acknowledged the drones’ proximity, joking, “Maybe I won’t spend the weekend in Bedminster.”

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has claimed the drones are not a threat but admitted the government cannot identify their source.

Trump dismissed the idea that the drones were linked to an enemy but suggested something unusual is taking place. “If it was the enemy, they’d blast it out of the sky,” he said. “Something strange is going on.”

Residents remain frustrated as federal officials provide few answers. Trump’s comments reflect a broader demand for transparency, with many New Jersey residents and officials pressing for a full explanation of the drone sightings.
