Trump Vows Revenge For Biden Administration’s Prosecutorial Harassment
On Thursday, former President Donald Trump responded to the most recent indictment against him by Special Counsel Jack Smith at the hands of President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) — vowing that “in 2024, it will be our turn!”
In a post on Truth Social prior to being arraigned in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, Trump discussed his plan for revenge against “Crooked Joe Biden” and his administration for their targeted harassment against him.
“Look, it’s not my fault that my political opponent in the Democrat Party, Crooked Joe Biden, has told his Attorney General to charge the leading (by far!) Republican Nominee & former President of the United States, me, with as many crimes as can be concocted so that he is forced to spend large amounts of time & money to defend himself,” the former president wrote.
Trump went on to argue that the Democrats would not be targeting him with “unprecedented weaponization” of the so-called “Justice” system if they thought they could beat him fairly in the 2024 presidential election.
He then suggested that, upon being reelected, he would use the same justice system to go after the criminals within the Democrat Party.
“BUT SOON, IN 2024, IT WILL BE OUR TURN,” Trump warned, concluding his post by simply declaring: “MAGA!”
“Biden and his family steal Millions and Millions of Dollars, including BRIBES from foreign countries, and I’m headed to D.C. to be ARRESTED for protesting a CROOKED ELECTION,” Trump wrote in another post on Truth Social prior to the arraignment.
“UNFAIR VENUE, UNFAIR JUDGE. We are a Nation in Decline. MAGA!!!” he added.
Trump is right — Biden has long wanted his DOJ to go after Trump, especially for the January 6 Capitol protests. Even the New York Times has admitted this, reporting in an April 2022 article that Biden hoped Attorney General Merrick Garland would be more aggressive in targeting Trump.
The left-wing outlet wrote that Biden had “confided to his inner circle that he believed former President Donald J. Trump was a threat to democracy and should be prosecuted, according to two people familiar with his comments.”
“And while the president has never communicated his frustrations directly to Mr. Garland, he has said privately that he wanted Mr. Garland to act less like a ponderous judge and more like a prosecutor who is willing to take decisive action over the events of Jan. 6,” the New York Times continued.
Now, Trump’s latest indictment handed down from the Biden DOJ coincidentally comes just one day after Hunter Biden’s longtime business partner gave testimony before the House Oversight Committee that directly implicated Biden in his son’s influence-peddling schemes.
The curious timing of this indictment has been pointed out by numerous commentators, including Fox News’ Jesse Watters. Trump’s campaign staffers also handed out fliers to reporters in the motorcade while en route to the courthouse on Thursday making this point, while noting that each of the other indictments against Trump came exactly one day after similar bombshell reports causing scandals for the Biden family.
