Tucker Carlson Launches Highly Anticipated Streaming Service
Conservative megastar Tucker Carlson announced on Saturday the launch of a new streaming service to spotlight his popular commentary. Since his ouster from Fox News in April for disagreements with management, Carlson hosted a free political program on X, formerly Twitter.
In a video announcement revealing the new outlet, Carlson quipped that time flew while he was “unemployed.” But that time was hardly wasted, he explained, as he has been busy conducting interviews and secretly preparing for the launch.
His reach on X was staggering. It included dramatic interviews with former President Donald Trump and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) among several other notables.
Now he will be available to fans at Tuckercarlson.com, and the Tucker Carlson Network will cost subscribers $9 per month. An annual package will be discounted at $72.
The creative logo resembles a red pill.
There was never a question whether Carlson would be part of a new venture to carry on his cultural influence. But speculation abounded on exactly what platform he would use to reach his legions of followers, and now it has been revealed.
The streaming service will reportedly feature five different shows available by midweek. They will include monologues, interviews and short videos.
Some of the content will be ad-supported and thus accessible without a subscription. Other features, particularly interviews and monologues, will be available only to active subscribers on the platform and come free of ads.
The new network apparently explored launching through X. However, the platform was reportedly not able to produce the technology rapidly enough to support a subscription service.
There will still be free content posted on X along with the paid streaming.
The Wall Street Journal noted that seed investment came in the form of $15 million from 1789 Capital along with other supporters. This financial firm seeks opportunities cast aside by woke investment agencies bent on leftist social initiatives at the expense of profit.
Most advertising will be handled by Red Seat Ventures, which already delivers marketing dollars to the likes of former Fox personalities Megyn Kelly and BIll O’Reilly.
Tucker Carlson stands apart, even in the currently crowded media field. There is no doubt that he will continue to find a strong following as he rips away falsehoods championed by the liberal establishment.
