UFO ‘Mother Ships’ Reported Near Military Bases, Pentagon Investigating
Mysterious UFO sightings near U.S. military bases are drawing attention as former Pentagon officials reveal new details about the phenomena. Chris Mellon, a former senior security official, recently described encounters with “mother ships” releasing smaller craft over secure facilities.
According to Mellon, UFOs were seen in December 2023 flying near Langley Air Force Base in Virginia for over two weeks. These craft displayed flashing lights and moved rapidly across restricted airspace. Similar events were also reported near Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works facility in California, a site known for advanced military aircraft development.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Mellon detailed how the UFOs appeared to challenge the military, flying openly and ignoring efforts to conceal their presence. Retired Gen. Mark Kelly echoed these concerns, recounting incidents near Naval Station Norfolk, which houses SEAL Team Six and serves as the world’s largest naval base.
The strange encounters have led to increased government scrutiny, with President Joe Biden reportedly briefed on the events. At Edwards Air Force Base, officials confirmed multiple UAS sightings, though the source and purpose of these aerial systems remain unclear.
Despite using signal-jamming devices, the U.S. military has been unable to stop the UFOs, leading to speculation about their origin. Mellon suggested some may be foreign intelligence drones, but their persistence and advanced capabilities are raising new questions.
