Woke ‘Snow White’ Actress Calls Prince Charming A ‘Stalker’
The woke actress starring in Disney’s live-action remake of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” is going viral for her bizarre comments about the film.
Disney has chosen to remake the 1937 classic film, but is once again altering the storyline to fit the woke agenda — including recasting the male dwarf characters with male and female actors of a variety of races and heights. The main character, who was described in the original as having “skin as white as snow,” has been recast with a Hispanic actress — as Disney is known for race-swapping White characters.
Rachel Zegler, the actress chosen to play Snow White, has been facing criticism on social media for her comments about the film — as she has repeatedly attacked the original story.
While trying to promote the film, which is set to be released in March 2024, the 22-year-old actress declared that Prince Charming was a “stalker.”
“The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so,” Zegler claimed. “There’s a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird. Weird. So we didn’t do that this time.”
“We have a different approach to what I’m sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because we like cast a guy in the movie,” she added.
“It’s one of those things that I think that everyone is gonna have their assumptions about what it’s actually gonna be,” Zegler continued. “It’s really not about the love story at all, which is really, really wonderful.”
She went on to suggest that all of Prince Charming’s scenes could be completely removed from the film.
“End Wokeness,” a popular account on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared a clip of Zegler’s remarks — noting that the actress is “a walking PR disaster for Disney.”
This isn’t the first time that Zegler’s comments about “Snow White” have gone viral in recent weeks, as she was previously roasted for ranting about how happy she was that the new version of the film stripped the concept of “true love” out in favor of her character becoming a “leader.”
“I just mean that it’s no longer 1937,” Zegler said in an interview while laughing. “And we absolutely wrote a ‘Snow White,’ that is, she’s not going to be saved by the prince and she’s not going to be dreaming about true love.”
“She’s dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and the leader that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true,” she added. “So it’s just a really incredible story for young people everywhere to see themselves in.”
