New York City Police arrested a 26-year-old Guatemalan migrant on Tuesday in Brooklyn for an allegedly vicious attack on a 50-year-old man. The suspect is charged with striking the victim with a rock in an attempt to rob him of his wallet.

Another day, another of Biden’s migrants attacking an American in a very preventable incident.

The terrifying incident unfolded around 2:35 p.m. in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood. Police arrested Jason Sanchez after the violence resulted in facial lacerations on the victim, who refused medical treatment at the scene.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident by NYPD and charged with attempted robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, and other infractions.

According to investigators, Sanchez listed his address as a nearby homeless shelter. It is just the latest example in a long string of violent crimes allegedly committed by migrants, and the public outcry recently spurred Democratic Mayor Eric Adams into finally taking action.

Adams said city officials are in contact with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), but laws need to be changed for authorities to act against criminal migrants.

The controversial mayor in recent days appeared to backtrack on the city’s much-maligned “sanctuary” program that led to tens of thousands of illegal migrants pouring in. The current law severely limits contact between city officials and federal immigration agents.

But recent crimes caused many to rethink this left-wing policy.

The Democrat sounded like he desired to bring the hammer down on violent illegals. “I want to go back to the standards of the previous mayors who I believe subscribe to my belief that people who are suspected of committing serious crimes in the city should be held accountable.”

Adams said that city residents “have a right to be safe.”

The mayor then fielded a provocative question from a leftist journalist obviously attempting to bait him. The reporter asked how cracking down on this violent behavior would affect a migrant’s “due process.”

Adams had none of this line of reasoning. “They didn’t give due process to the person that they shot or punched or killed. There’s just a philosophical disagreement here.”
