Biden ‘Angry and Anxious’ About Failing Reelection Campaign

President Joe Biden is reportedly “angry and anxious” about his struggling campaign for reelection.

According to a Sunday report from NBC News journalists Peter Nicholas, Courtney Kube and Carol E. Lee, things have become so bad inside Biden’s White House that Biden was screaming and cursing at staffers after his advisers told him about his falling poll numbers in the battleground states of Michigan and Georgia.

“President Joe Biden was seething,” the report read. “In a private meeting at the White House in January, allies of the president had just told him that his poll numbers in Michigan and Georgia had dropped over his handling of the war between Israel and Hamas. Both are battleground states he narrowly won four years ago, and he can’t afford any backsliding if he is to once again defeat Donald Trump. He began to shout and swear, a lawmaker familiar with the meeting said. He believed he had been doing what was right, despite the political fallout, he told the group, according to the lawmaker.”

Despite the White House’s best attempts to put a spin on the situation, it is clear from the polls that Biden is losing this election right now. His approval has gotten worse since January, with polls across almost every battleground state showing Biden losing by significant margins to the presumptive Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump.

Thus, the Biden campaign is scrambling to catch up — even going so far over the weekend to seize upon a clearly manipulated and outright false interpretation of Trump’s comments at a rally in order to smear him to voters.

After Trump told the crowd at the Saturday rally that he predicts an economic “bloodbath” for the auto industry if Biden wins the November election, the media and the Biden campaign immediately clipped his comments out of context to make it appear that Trump was advocating for violence.

This latest hoax aimed at smearing Trump was called out on social media as a desperate attempt to get back on offense from a campaign that has recently been stuck on defense over a myriad of issues — including the Israel-Hamas war. Biden has discovered that there is no way to appease his base on this issue, with the radical left demanding total fealty to the pro-Palestine cause and a portrayal of Israel as the enemy, while the other half of Biden’s base supports Israel’s right to defend itself.

As Breitbart News noted, “it seems to signal a desperation from team Biden that nothing is breaking their way — and everything is going Trump’s way this year. Biden officials are constantly clamoring to get on offense and to put Trump on defense, but top allies of the Democrat president told NBC News they are running into a brick wall with voters.”

These allies include Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA), who is quoted by NBC News as saying that Biden needs to step up and prove he can still lead.

“Biden stood up in front of the whole world and said, ‘I’m ready. I’m the guy who can take down Donald Trump,’” Smith said. “So, he godd—n well better do it. We don’t have time for him to be worried about whether or not people are saying things right or the poll numbers are where they should be. I want focused energy and not defensive anger.”
