National Democrats are in full blown panic mode over the independent presidential candidacy of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. This was illustrated in a frantic conference call this week between party leaders and their mainstream media allies.

The impetus for the outreach was the candidate’s selection of California leftist Nicole Shanahan as his running mate. This act sent a clear signal that he is aggressively targeting young voters and Democrats disgruntled with the deeply unpopular incumbent.

And the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is terrified that he will siphon votes away from President Joe Biden, who already trails former President Donald Trump in most national polls. Many act as though he has no right to run against their beleaguered president.

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) loudly whined on the conference call. “I am personally offended and just disgusted by [Kennedy’s] campaign. He should be ashamed of himself. He should stop running for president.”

Pennsylvania Democratic Lt. Gov. Austin Davis decried RFK Jr. as a “spoiler.” He swerved into conspiracy territory when he declared that Kennedy was “drafted into this race by Donald Trump’s top supporters” and has no “realistic path to victory in Pennsylvania.”

Davis added, “We are doing everything in our power to get President Biden and Vice President Harris reelected. It’s critical that we take seriously every possible obstacle to that goal. And let me be clear, that’s exactly what Robert F. Kennedy is in this election.”

Democrats summoned their mainstream media allies onto the call with several party leaders to blast his candidacy. It is certain that there will be many hit pieces created by “journalists” in coming weeks at the behest of the DNC.

Michigan state Sen. Mallory McMorrow (D) joined the call and increased the hysterics over Kennedy’s run for the White House.

She declared “how horrifying this campaign is and what it really means on the ground for Michigan.” McMorrow lamented that “him being in the race means that there is a greater likelihood that Donald Trump will become president again.”

Garcia further called Kennedy “a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist.” And then he turned his attention to Shanahan, claiming she has an “anti-health agenda.”

Besides Kennedy, the left-wing media will certainly turn on one of their own and attack his running mate to keep Biden in office. This despite the fact that Shanahan holds very liberal views on a wide array of issues that journalists on a normal day would agree with.
