Financial backing for radical anti-Israel congressional Democrats is apparently on the wane, according to a report from the Washington Free Beacon. The leftist “Squad” is the ideological home for some of Washington’s most avid supporters of Hamas terrorists.

Funding for Reps. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) is not keeping up with expenditures, as the two are burning through money faster than they can raise it. This word came from recent financial disclosure forms.

Radical Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is struggling to raise funds, bringing in only $151,000 for the quarter that just ended. And the Free Beacon reported that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) did not even raise half of what she did in the same quarter in 2019.

This is the financial backdrop in which Squad members will be forced to fight for reelection next year.

There will certainly be opposition to their expressed support for the perpetrators of the deadly attack on Israel by Hamas terrorists. Even the Biden White House struck back against Squad members for their unwavering support for Tel Aviv’s enemies.

More than 1,400 Israelis and at least 30 Americans died in the terrorist attacks.

Jewish Insider reported Monday that Omar and fellow anti-Israel Reps. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) and Summer Lee (D-PA) face potential primary challenges stemming from their far-left stances.

Omar is also in an election quandary with former primary challenger Don Samuels launching another bid for her seat. She barely held him off in the last election cycle.

Many liberal Jews now face the reality that their political colleagues abandoned them in the wake of the worst slaughter of their people since the Holocaust. While Jewish voters lean toward Democratic politics, they are increasingly finding the support is far from mutual.

Joel Simonds is a Los Angeles rabbi who has a history of supporting progressive causes. He found that his political compatriots are not nearly as supportive when Israel is attacked by terrorists.

Simonds said he feels betrayed by many on the left who he counted on for their support. “It’s not going to change the way we look at justice, it’s going to change the way we look at our allies.”

The chasm within the Democratic Party is now out in the open.
