Libs Of TikTok Owner Claps Back At AOC For Calling Her A Liar
Chaya Raichik, who operates the popular “Libs of TikTok” account, clapped back at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) for attacking her during a House Oversight Committee hearing.
In the hearing earlier this week, Ocasio-Cortez accused Raichik of being a liar.
While speaking with disgraced former Twitter censor Yoel Roth, the radical leftist congresswoman asked him whether he was aware of Libs of TikTok and the supposed lies her account had spread.
“Are you aware that from August 11th to August 16th, that account posted false information about Boston Children’s Hospital, claiming that they were providing hysterectomies to children?” she asked.
Raichik called out Ocasio-Cortez during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Friday.
Before the “Libs of TikTok” owner appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show, the host noted that all Raichik had done was share a video from Boston Children’s Hospital in which their employees openly bragged about performing hysterectomies on children. Raichik’s Twitter account is mostly made up of videos she shares of leftists speaking, she doesn’t edit them or make assertions, just gives their own voices a larger platform.
“The funny thing is Libs of TikTok makes almost no claims at all. It just puts up videos of people saying what they want to say, and you can assess it. So Boston Children’s Hospital, for example, admits — this is not a claim we’re making; it’s an observation — that it performs gender surgeries on children,” Carlson said.
“And in a video, that hospital boasted ‘we will see patients as young as 15 for top surgeries.’ In other words, mastectomies cutting the breasts off children. So that’s real. Their website said they do vaginoplasties on children. This children’s hospital describes this as gender-affirming care, including and recording gender-affirming hysterectomies,” the Fox News host added.
Carlson then began the interview by asking Raichik about her insight as to why Ocasio-Cortez was so angry during the hearing.
“I believe that AOC and Yoel Roth were mad that people were able to see the truth. It’s very concerning that they’re more upset about people knowing that these surgeries are happening to children than the fact that these children are getting these surgeries,” she responded.
“I mean, children are being sterilized and mutilated across the country in a lot of hospitals. And they’re just more mad that we know about it,” Raichik added.
The Fox News host went on to ask if Ocasio-Cortez’s behavior during the hearing was an example of a “government official… making a case for censorship.”
“Yes, exactly,” Raichik replied. “It’s very concerning that we have government officials, and we know they were working with the FBI, coordinating with big tech to silence anyone who dares speak the truth,” she said.
“And the truth is that the truth is not hateful or harmful or dangerous like they claim,” she continued. “They like to label me a terrorist. It’s just the truth is inconvenient to them, and that’s why they want to silence it.”
Carlson replied by noting that Ocasio-Cortez has bodyguards to protect her, while Raichik does not.
“So every time you pay your taxes, some of that money goes to bodyguards for Sandy Cortez and other government officials,” the Fox News host said. “You, of course, don’t have bodyguards. They’re calling you out in public as some kind of terrorist. Now, she spends a lot of time telling you what a victim she is and how afraid she is. But what’s your life like?”
Raichik then pointed out a flaw in the Democrat congresswoman’s logic, one that appears to go over her head.
“Yeah, I mean, if me posting a publicly available video from Boston Children’s Hospital, if I’m just posting that and then I’m responsible somehow for a bomb threat, then her criticizing me on the House floor would make her responsible for all the death threats that I receive, right?” she asked.
Obviously, that’s not how the world works — but it’s just an extension of the Democrats’ logic.
“I mean, it has to go both ways, but it obviously doesn’t. It only goes one way, and I receive a lot of death threats. I’ve had people showing up to my home, and no, I do not get bodyguards paid for by the government,” Raichik added.
