Joe Biden checked in with his Democrat colleagues on Thursday to heap criticism on Republican governors who are sending illegal migrants from the wide-open southern border to deep-blue locations. Biden, who has instituted the policies that have led to more than 2 million apprehensions of illegals at the southern border so far this year, called the Republican leaders “un-American.”

Biden said the GOP governors are acting in a “reckless” manner and are “playing politics with human beings, using them as props.” His comments came during the Hispanic Caucus Institute Gala that was being held to mark the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Biden was reacting specifically to the news that Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis flew a group of about 50 migrants to posh Martha’s Vineyard on Thursday morning. At about the same time, Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott had sent a busload of illegal border crossers to the outside of Vice President Kamala Harris’s residence in Washington, D.C.

Echoing Harris’s ridiculous claim she made on Sunday that the southern border is “secure,” Biden attempted to defend his disastrous immigration policies. Of course, he blamed Republicans for blocking him from what he claimed he wants to accomplish.

Biden said, “We have a process in place to manage migrants at the border. We’re working to make sure it’s safe and orderly and humane.” He blustered that Republican governors “should not interfere with that process by waging these political stunts,” as if sending a few thousand out of more than two million illegal migrants to liberal enclaves was affecting his policy-making ability.

Then he demanded that Republicans go along with his plan to grant amnesty to the untold millions of illegal immigrants already inside the country. He called amnesty for illegals “long overdue.” He said that Congress needs to “modernize our laws so businesses can get workers they need and families don’t have to wait decades to be brought back together.”

The transportation of the tiny number of illegal migrants by DeSantis to exclusive Martha’s Vineyard led to liberal and corporate media outrage on Thursday. By Friday morning, the migrants had been transported by bus from the Democrat vacation destination to a military base for internment under guard.
