President Joe Biden proved over the weekend that he is far from above repeating the lies that the left-wing media and his political allies are spreading about former President Donald Trump.

The 45th president told an enthusiastic Ohio rally Saturday that the nation’s auto industry would suffer a “bloodbath” under a second Biden term. There was never any doubt as to the context of the statement, and honest observers recognized his intent.

But extremists immediately pounced.

For them, simply uttering the term “bloodbath” indicated that Trump was calling for violence on the streets if he comes up short in November. This fits their narrative of an unhinged candidate intent on revenge.

Biden made mention of the innocuous comment by his rival to stir the base and deploy fear mongering as a campaign strategy. His leftist media cohorts joined in the chorus.

MSNBC blowhard Joe Scarborough used an expletive to describe the effort by conservatives to note the obvious context of Trump’s remark. In a since-deleted tweet from Sunday, he said the former president promised “another bloodbath” if he is not chosen by voters in November.

X owner Elon Musk correctly noted that the Jan. 6 protests did not fit any definition of a “”bloodbath,” and Scarborough erased his posting.

Trump’s intention could not have been more clear. Addressing Chinese President Xi Jinping, the presumptive Republican nominee noted Beijing’s plan to build major auto plants in Mexico with obvious sights set on flooding the U.S. with cheap vehicles.

The Republican rebuked this idea, promising a 100% tariff “on every single car that comes across the line.”

Then he immediately warned the Ohio audience of the consequences for the auto industry of another four years under Biden. “Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s going to be the least of it.”

Trump continued, “But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.”

Biden and his media cronies, instead of noting the clear context of the statement, edited out references to Chinese automobiles and left the “bloodbath” remark intact.

For Biden, this is politics as usual. But for the mainstream media, this egregiously biased pseudo-journalism is nothing less than election interference.
