The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) seemingly has a full plate with over an estimated 1,000 Americans missing after the devastating Hawaii fires. Apparently not.

The agency took time to provide a mandatory three-hour diversity training program for its workers. Among other leftist arguments it made was that White supremacy is “ingrained in nearly every system and institution in the U.S.”

The Washington Free Beacon revealed that many of FEMA’s 22,000 employees are mandated to complete the training between Aug. 1 and Sept. 28.

The “resilience division” consists of some 2,600 workers and was required to complete the modules. It was unclear how many others had to endure the training.

The indoctrination falls under the Biden administration’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). This doctrine holds that there are only the oppressors and the oppressed and views American society through the prism of “systemic racism and oppression.”

In a July email, FEMA’s leadership declared the sessions were “part of our ongoing commitment to instill Equity as a Foundation of Emergency Management.”

The letter said the training was developed by the Institute for Diversity and Inclusion in Emergency Management. Its CEO, Chauncia Willis, informed the Free Beacon that the training was dispensed live to FEMA employees months ago.

Now the film is being shown by “resilience equity adviser” Christopher Smith. It is his responsibility to pause the footage and have FEMA employees have small group discussions over the material.

Meanwhile, as Washington plays with meaningless diversity indoctrination, the situation in Hawaii grows more grim. On Thursday, Maui County released a validated list of 388 people confirmed as unaccounted for after the Aug. 8 disaster.

Officials provided the names in hopes of the public assisting in identifying possible victims who can be accounted for. Compiled by the FBI, it included first and last names and a verified contact number for the individual who notified authorities.

The identities of eight more victims were confirmed, raising the official death toll to 115. The Maui Police Department said that the total confirmed fatalities who have been identified and their families notified is 35.

Another 11 have been identified but families have not been contacted or notified.

The Kula and Lahaina fires are 85% and 90% contained, respectively. Firefighters continue to battle flare ups and hot spots weeks after the tragic blazes swept through the area.

And as the death toll continues to rise and accusations fly, Biden’s FEMA is busily sowing the seeds of racial division in its workforce.
