The censors at YouTube pulled an interview of Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr with Dr. Jordan Peterson off their platform over claims that chemicals are leading to more transgender people.

Peterson and RFK Jr. on Sunday tweeted that the platform pulled the video of the podcast episode and leveled accusations of censorship of a campaign.

Kennedy asked, “What do you think…should social media platforms censor presidential candidates?”

The Democrat is widely known to hold unorthodox views on the nature of chemical contaminants and their effects on society. He asked his followers for their help in determining what was the “misinformation” in the interview by Peterson.

Kennedy’s campaign reiterated to Fox News Digital that vaccines are not at the forefront of the campaign to unseat President Joe Biden. However, discussion of the controversial subject matter is hardly off the table.

They emphasized that the candidate “will be happy to debate the issue with any prominent proponent of the conventional view.”

A Google spokesperson said YouTube took down the interview for violating the platform’s “general vaccine misinformation policy, which prohibits content that alleges that vaccines cause chronic side effects, outside of rare side effects” that are acknowledged by the medical community.

In one segment of the interview, Kennedy asserted that much of the gender dysphoria in the U.S. is due to chemicals in the water. “I think a lot of the problems we see in kids, particularly boys, it’s probably underappreciated…how much of that is coming from chemical exposures.”

The candidate noted the chemical atrazine is prevalent in the nation’s water supply. He said if you put it in a tank of frogs, every frog will be chemically castrated and feminized.

Kennedy added that “10% of the frogs, the male frogs will turn into fully viable females able to produce viable eggs.” He asked if atrazine is doing that to frogs, could it have similar effects in humans?

In a recent interview with podcast host Joe Rogan, the Democrat expressed concern that the CIA could try to assassinate him. Kennedy has claimed that the agency was involved in the murder of his uncle, the late President John F. Kennedy.

He said JFK was “at war” with the intelligence community and the military’s leaders during the early 1960s. Kennedy accused the two groups of attempting to “trick” the president into battle with Cuba and Vietnam.
