Horrified Students Threatened By Teacher Over Pride Video
A viral video showed students in a California classroom reacting negatively to be subjected to a Pride video. At that point, the teacher apparently threatened them with “Saturday school” if they didn’t fall in line.
The clip is reportedly from a math class at Edison High School in Huntington Beach.
As students immediately voiced their displeasure with the film, the teacher is heard telling them to “stop!” The pupils continue to protest, and at that point the educator issued a warning.
She is heard declaring, “Hey, I’m warning you guys now, if you’re gonna be inappropriate, I will have supervision down and give all of you a Saturday school for next year. So knock it off.”
The online reaction to the math teacher was predictably harsh, though there are reports that it was far from the only class to see the video. Commentator Robby Starbuck, who posted the video on social media, said he heard from other students saying all classes were forced to watch.
He added, “they’re upset about it and want the school to refrain from playing videos like this.”
The Daily Caller reported that the video included a Pride flag and a gay kiss, and one student asked “why are you showing this to kids?” Another viewer apparently pretended to gag or vomit.
One Twitter user claimed the video was part of a student news channel. That posting said the clip was 10 minutes long and contained graduation information, sports highlights, and other memories of the school year.
Whatever the case, the classroom is a captive audience and not for propagandizing radical leftist ideology. LGBT advocates assert that they are not forcing their agenda on children, when the facts clearly show otherwise.
And even the children are pushing back.
As the parents in Glendale and now the kids in Huntington Beach proved, there is exploding resistance to being indoctrinated. Most everyone in 2023 prefers to live and let live, but forced acceptance of an alternative lifestyle goes beyond this principle.
The leftists now demand that every knee bow to LGBT and transgender ideology. And it is increasingly clear that our nation’s schools will be their battleground.
